George James Tritton (b.1862,d.1902) and his wife Alice (n�e Brann) and their son Henry (b.1896, d.1981) outside their home (Holly Tree) in Staple, in 1900. George James was the fifth child of George & Sarah Ann Tritton.

Donald Tritton & his wife Margaret (n�e Humphrey). photographed in their farmhouse near Ashford in 1998. Donald is the son of Henry Tritton and Ellen Winifred (ne� Mayes).

Extreme Right: Owen Tritton (b.1891,d.1970), a son of Henry and Minnie (ne� Thompson) Tritton, photographed with a group of trophy winners at the Tilmanstone Plough Show in the 1950's.  Owen's father Henry was Robert and Susanna's third son.

  The Black Horse, Swingfield: It was once run by   William Tritton, Robert's eldest brother.
