The Black Pig, Freehouse and Restaurant, is situated on the edge of the village, in the hamlet of Barnsole. It is a fine old
15th Century, timbered building, with a large garden and ample parking. The building has a very interesting history, and was constructed from the timbers of local shipwrecks.

stuffed with goats cheese and mushrooms, wrapped in bacon, served with
dauphonoise potatoes and white wine sauce. |
